IBS je vrlo \u010dest i mo\u017ee biti dugotrajan problem, ali za razliku od upalnih bolesti crijeva (Crohn, kolitis), ne dovodi do o\u0161te\u0107enja tkiva niti ozbiljnih komplikacija, stoga se ne smatra bole\u0161\u0107u opasnom po \u017eivot. Smatra se da je u pitanju kombinacija preosjetljivosti crijevne muskulature i nerava (poja\u010dana <strong>visceralna osjetljivost<\/strong>), psiholo\u0161kih faktora (anksioznost, stres) i promijenjenog sastava crijevne flore. Za razliku od ulceroznog kolitisa i Crohnove bolesti, kod IBS-a nema vidljive upale ili ulceracija na crijevima. Ipak, novija istra\u017eivanja pokazuju da bi kod nekih pacijenata sa IBS-om mogao postojati vrlo blagi nivo <strong>hroni\u010dne upale<\/strong> ili imune aktivacije u crijevima \u2013 npr. nakon prele\u017eane crijevne infekcije neki razviju tzv. postinfektivni IBS sa malim pove\u0107anjem limfocita u sluznici.     <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Generalno, IBS se vi\u0161e vezuje za <strong>disbalans crijevne nervne i mi\u0161i\u0107ne aktivnosti<\/strong> (osovina crijevo-mozak) nego za imunolo\u0161ki napad. <strong>Oksidativni stres<\/strong> mo\u017ee nastati sekundarno, uslijed stalnog stresa ili lo\u0161e ishrane, ali nije glavni pokreta\u010d IBS-a. <strong>Imunolo\u0161ki disbalans<\/strong> u IBS-u je suptilan \u2013 mo\u017eda kao posljedica naru\u0161ene mikrobiote, jer zdrave bakterije dr\u017ee imunolo\u0161ki odgovor crijeva pod kontrolom.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-48846a03 wd-width-100 elementor-widget elementor-widget-wd_title\" data-id=\"48846a03\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"wd_title.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"title-wrapper wd-set-mb reset-last-child wd-title-color-default wd-title-style-default wd-title-size-default text-center\">\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"liner-continer\">\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"woodmart-title-container title wd-fontsize-l\">Prirodna podr\u0161ka organizmu<\/h3> \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53308121 elementor-widget elementor-widget-wd_text_block\" data-id=\"53308121\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"wd_text_block.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wd-text-block reset-last-child text-left\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lije\u010denje IBS-a uglavnom se fokusira na ishranu i stil \u017eivota (redukcija stresa). Tu <strong>spelta<\/strong> mo\u017ee biti od zna\u010dajne koristi za regulaciju crijevne funkcije. Kao prvo, spelta sadr\u017ei <strong>dijetetska vlakna<\/strong> koja su glavna za dobru probavu. Zanimljivo, vlakna spelte su lako rastvorljiva u vodi, \u0161to zna\u010di da formiraju gel u crijevima i djeluju blagotvorno u oba slu\u010daja \u2013 i kod dijareje (upijaju\u0107i vi\u0161ak te\u010dnosti i usporavaju\u0107i prolazak stolice) i kod opstipacije (pove\u0107avaju zapreminu stolice i omek\u0161avaju je). Ova rastvorljiva vlakna (beta-glukani i sl.) manje nadimaju od nerastvorljivih vlakana, pa spelta \u010desto prija \u010dak i osobama koje imaju problem sa naduto\u0161\u0107u.    <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spelta poma\u017ee u <strong>uspostavljanju zdrave crijevne flore<\/strong>. Njena vlakna su hrana za dobre bakterije u debelom crijevu \u2013 razgradnjom speltinog vlakna, bakterije stvaraju korisne kratkolan\u010dane masne kiseline poput butirata, koji smiruje upalu (ako je ima) i pobolj\u0161ava integritet crijevne sluzoko\u017ee. Balansirana mikrobiota smanjuje preosjetljivost crijeva i mo\u017ee ubla\u017eiti IBS simptome.  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sadr\u017ei <strong>magnezijum<\/strong> i B vitamine koji poma\u017eu opu\u0161tanje mi\u0161i\u0107a crijeva i regulaciju nervnih signala. Mnogi antistres minerali i vitamini su va\u017eni jer stres pogor\u0161ava IBS \u2013 magnezijum opu\u0161ta glatke mi\u0161i\u0107e crijeva, a vitamin B6 u\u010destvuje u sintezi neurotransmitera koji reguli\u0161u crijevnu peristaltiku. Iako IBS nije klasi\u010dna upalna bolest, bilo kakvo pobolj\u0161anje op\u0161teg stanja crijeva koristi \u2013 tu su speltini <strong>antioksidansi<\/strong> (selen, vitamin E) koji dr\u017ee crijevno tkivo zdravim i \u0161tite ga od o\u0161te\u0107enja zbog eventualno poja\u010danog stvaranja gasa ili toksi\u010dnih metabolita lo\u0161ih bakterija.  <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I na kraju, spelta doprinosi i <strong>psiholo\u0161kom blagostanju<\/strong> preko ose crijevo-mozak: kada je varenje ure\u0111enije i tijelo bolje nahranjeno, \u010desto se smanjuje i anksioznost i stres, \u0161to stvara pozitivnu povratnu spregu u kontroli IBS-a. Sve ovo ukazuje da spelta mo\u017ee biti od velike pomo\u0107i za sindrom iritabilnog crijeva.
