Sneezing, stuffy nose, fatigue, itching, bloating, coughing… These are all symptoms that many of us experience, but are not always sure what exactly causes them.

Is it an allergy? Or a cold? Or some kind of food intolerance? Recognizing the difference is key to responding correctly and regenerating the body faster.

ALLERGY:

What is it? An excessive reaction of the immune system to otherwise harmless substances (e.g., pollen, dust, food).

Symptoms:

-sneezing, itchy nose

-redness of the eyes, tearing

-itchy skin, rash

-difficulty breathing (in case of a stronger reaction)

When does it occur?

-seasonal (e.g., pollen), throughout the year (mites, house dust)

How to recognize?

-symptoms come on suddenly

-no fever

-can last for days or weeks, without change

COLD:

What is it? A viral infection of the upper respiratory tract.

Symptoms:

-stuffy nose, runny nose

-slightly elevated temperature

-fatigue, weakness

-cough, sore throat

When does it occur?

-mostly in colder months

How to recognize?

-symptoms develop gradually

-can last 5–7 days

-fever and body aches are common

INTOLERANCE:

What is it? An improper reaction of the body to certain ingredients from food, but without the participation of the immune system (unlike allergy).

Symptoms:

bloating, gas

-cramps, diarrhea

-headache, fatigue

-skin reactions (less frequent)

When does it occur?

-after consuming certain foods (e.g., milk, gluten, additives)

How to recognize?

-symptoms are not immediate, they occur several hours after a meal

-depend on the amount of food ingested

-often go away when the problematic food is eliminated

How can you help yourself?

-Keep a symptom diary (when, where, after what they occur)

-Strengthen immunity naturally (diet, sleep, physical activity)

-Consider introducing green spelt juice into your daily routine – because what we eat can reduce or increase symptoms

-Consult a specialist if you suspect an allergy or intolerance

Health begins with understanding what the body is saying. Proper recognition is the first step towards relief!
